SubTech1 - Symposium on Subtitling Technology
On May, 24th and 25th Alex will be in Munich to demonstrate subcheck.io during SubTech 1 - Symposium on Subtitling Technology.
SubTech1 is a symposium that brings together players active in the broadcasting sector, and especially dealing with subtitles. Interestingly for the XML world, a lot of standards for subtitle formats are done as W3C specs. That’s why IRT and BaseX joined forces to bring XQuery and XML technologies to the domain.
subcheck.io is a webapp that does quality checking on subtitle files.
